On November 26, 2020, the representative of the Institution Olena Bragarnyk took part in the event “VII International Forum on Intellectual Property (IPF – 2020)”.

The final chord of the forum was the fifth session of “Innovations and IP”, during which Elena presented the main aspects of SFII activities as well as engagement of the Invention Support Fund of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. In particular, she highlighted the history of the project, its uniqueness and stages of implementation, number of participants, its roll-out effectiveness.

“The results of the implementation of the Pilot Project have already shown high interest and need for such state support projects. Currently, the Institution is working on theways to improve the Fund’s activity”, – added the Deputy Head of the Invention Support Department.

During the session, the speakers discussed, in particular, the current state of Ukraine’s innovation policy, the legal conditions for the commercialization of innovations and the importance of digital art. Some practical steps for the development of innovation in the country were discussed.
